Usa: airfares at lowest level since 1988
Washington, Usa - -9,1 on domestic flights and -1,3% on international ones
The average airfares level in the Us has never been lower than today in last 14 years. According to ATA, Air Transport Association, in July 2002 American airlines cut airfares by a 9,1% on domestic flights and by a 1,3% on international destinations. "In order to stimulate demand, airlines have reduced prices to levels not seen since 1988," said Dave Swierenga, the trade organization's chief economist....
