Boeing and EADS to challenge over huge military helicopters deal
Madrid, Spain - A contract worth EUR 1,3bn to supply Madrid armed forces
The world largest aerospace companies, the US Boeing and the European EADS, will challenge over a EUR 1,3bn contract to provide military helicopters to the Spanish armed forces. Whilst Boeing hopes to sell its Apache helicopter, EADS wants to sell the Tiger, the chopper made by its subsidiary Eurocopter. (007)
