AIRBUS IS PLANNING SUPERSONIC JET

PARIS, Jean-Jacques Mirat, chief engineer of the french industry said in an interview on the german trade magazine Flugrevue that the supersonic jet would be able to fly twice as fast as the Concorde and would carry 250 passengers.
