TARANTULAS AND SCORPIONS FOUND AT BOGOTA'S AIRPORT

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA, 250 live tarantulas and 20 squirming scorpions , had been found in a garbage, apparently after a botched attempt to smuggle them to Japan. The scorpions and the tarantulas, large like one little golf ball, had been packed in individual boxes and placed in a larger box, which was found by an airport employee in the passenger terminal at the Bogota's International airport.
