NATO IS PROJECTING GROUND SURVEILLANCE RADAR SYSTEM

USA, Nato is currently defining NATAR, Nato Transatlantic Advanced Radar, ground surveillance project based on Joint STARS and RTIP technologies, using six aircrafts, possibly A321, equipped with mission system consisting of 12 work stations, 18 computers racks, 304 LRUs. Northrop Grumman is participating in radar development.
