PAKISTAN AGAINST US MISSILE SHIELD

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Inamul Haq said in a speech to the U.N. Conference on Disarmament that U.S. missile defense shield could heighten tensions between major powers and lead to a buildup of arsenals. He added that "most countries" remained unconvinced that deployment of a National Missile Defense would enhance security anywhere.
