AUCKLAND AIRPORT: HALF PROFIT ENDED DEC 31, 2000
AUCKLAND, NEW ZELAND, The New Zeland's largest airport, Auckland International Airport, that is a transit point for 70 percent of all tourists to island, said profit in the six months ended Dec. 31, rose a higher-than-expected 15 percent as passenger numbers gained. The profit rose to NZ$28.5 million ($12.3 million) compared to 1999 NZ$24.8 million.
