US spy plane shot down by Iraqi rebels

Baghdad, Iraq - American Command does not confirm

Last April 2nd, an US spy plane, an UAV-type (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), was shot down few kms from Baghdad, in Kubeiba area. US troops reacted to the attack with air bombing on the Al Basatín region, near Kubeiba, in order to hit the area where insurgents had probably hidden. The news was released by "Granma International", without confirmations by US Command.
