Arthur Hailey was died at his home in the Bahamas at age 84 years, author of famous thrillers which were very successful in all the world. He wrote in 1968 novel "Airport" by which he gained the international renown: it seems that the book idea was born on board a DC-4 following a horrible meal supplied to a Tv screenwriter; "Airport" later hit movie screens, with Burt Lancaster and Dean Martin.
