KC-135 Tanker receives certification for the new fuel of USAF

KC-135 Tanker airplane received recently the certification to operate refuelling with the new fuel that USAF intends to use on its fleet from next years. This fuel is made up 50% standard JP-8 and 50% synthetic-fuel obtained from natural gas. KC-135 joins B-52H Stratofortress bombers and C-17A Globemaster III, already certified.
