Czech Republic sees towards EADS-Casa to replace its military transport airplanes

Prague, Czech Republic - Martin Bartak, Defence Minister, declared it

Czech Republic's Defense Minister, Martin Bartak, declared today that the Ministry is evaluating the hypothesis to purchase four turboprop airplanes of tactical transport, C-295M of EADS-CASA. The new aircraft should modernize the fleet of 24th Air Transportation Base in Prague-Kbely, that has planes as Tupolev TU-154, CL-601, JAK-40, Antonov AN-26 and L-410, besides the recent Airbus A-319CJ.
