A Dutch charter plane -Boeing 767 with 263 passengers on board- en route to Sri Lanka was forced to make an emergency landing soon after take-off because of a bird-strike. The bird, that was tucked inside the engine, hit the airplane while it was gathering speed on the runway; the animal damaged the aircraft, according to ArkeFly spokesman Laura Water.
