F-15C USAF fighter aircraft returns in emergency to the base in Japan. It was committed to military operations

Komatsu, Japan - A problem to the hydraulic system discovered by the pilot

It has been a problem to the hydraulic system the cause of the return in emergency on the air base at the Komatsu airport, in Japan, made today by the pilot of a F-15C fighter airplane of the USAF, committed in military manoeuvres on the skies of the Sea of Japan. F-15 touched ground without consequences, provoking only the interruption for a half an hour of the airport activities and the delays of two commercial flights. The operation was in the context of a joint drill by the USAF and by Japan Air Self-Defence Force that is taking place in that air space. Together with the fighter in question, also 4 US F-15s and 4 same Japanese models are committed in formation flights.
