From London-Gatwick to "De Gaulle" in Paris, from Washington to Frankfurt, Seoul, Baltimora, Melbourne, Zurich, Tokyo, to Singapore up to Johannesburg: it is chaos in the world airports that is provoking heavy delays in the links and airplanes. A failure caused to the software of Amadeus Altea that manages recording systems and passenger embarking of over 125 airlines, some of which adhering to the alliances of oneworld and Star Alliance. The black-out is about the websites both of the ground services of the carriers that use such system. In the interested airports long queues formed at check-in desks, delays and sustainable discomforts among passengers. The company that manages Amadeus Altea unveiled that it has been a problem to the network, currently in which we write, towards a gradual solution, while from Zurich, Frankfurt and Paris the airport managements inform that the problem has been already resolved. Obviously it will be necessary to wait a time required for a total return to the normality.
