Russia: helicopter crashes during a training flight
All the six occupants killed -VIDEO
A Vostok company Mil Mi-8PS-9 helicopter (Registration: RA-24640) crashed this morning on the Khabarovsk's outskirts, in Far Eastern Russia.
The helicopter would have hit an antenna during a training flight and then crashed into the ground. It is assumed that possible causes of the accident may lie in adverse weather conditions, in a technical failure or in a pilot error.
All six occupants died while the vehicle was destroyed in the fire that broke out following the crash. A day of mourning will be observed tomorroy (April 12th) in respect for the victims.
