Washington Airports. New assistant fire chief
With experience gained in "Katrina" and Pentagon attack in 2001
Craig N. Buckley has joined the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority public safety department as an assistant fire chief focused on emergency services. His career spans nearly four decades in emergency response and management at the federal, state and local levels.
He is a master trainer instructor with the International Association of Fire Fighters and has certifications from the FEMA Emergency Management Institute, National Fire Academy, the National Fire Protection Association and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Buckley has been recognized for his role in emergency response efforts surrounding Hurricane "Katrina" and the Sept. 11 terrorist attack at the Pentagon.
