Brief. 100th aircraft in service with Ethiopian
The airline will receive it next week
Short from the world. Ethiopian Airlines announced that it will take delivery on 5 June 2018 of its 100th airplane, a B-787/900, the 1st for an African carrier that with a 100 aircraft fleet keeps its reference role in the aeronautical technology in the continent.
The carrier operates a mix of state-of-the-art aircraft with an average fleet age of five years. The airline has 5 more B-787/900 and 16 A-350 airplanes on order. It was the first African airline and second only to Japan to operate the B-787 Dreamliner in 2012 and to have the A-350XWB in 2016.
