Nice Airport hands back stuck in security checks objects to passengers
Trippertyboxes: the new service managed by La Poste
An innovative service has been activated at the Nice-Côte d'Azur airport. It will allow passengers to get back the objects stuck in security checks. Thanks to the Trippertyboxes project managed by La Poste, the stuff that hasn't passed the checks will be placed in special boxes and every passenger forced to leave an object will be assigned a code. Once arrived at the destination, the traveller will have the possibility to trace its parcel that can be picked up in person within 21 days at Terminal 2 or sent and delivered within 48 hours. In case of delivery, the service will cost 10 Euros. Then a surcharge of 5, 10 or 20 Euros will be added if the stuff will be sent to France, Europe and the rest of the world, respectively.
