Münster Airport: Baron 58 crashed, 2 victims
The fact during a training flight. Closed the airport
Today at the Münster-Osnabrück International Airport a Beechcraft G-58 Baron -with PH-CJX brands- crashed during the landing killing the two people on board. The plane took off from Lelystad airport -in Netherlands- for a training flight necessary to extend the pilot's flight license, whose identity is unknown.
Andres Heinemann, airport spokesman, said: "Several takeoffs and landings have been planned on the airport runway, but the incident happened on the first attempt." Because of this the airport has been closed and will remain -according to German sources- at least for a good part of the afternoon, to allow investigators to start investigations aimed at ascertaining what led to the accident, whether a human error or a failure technical.
