Lion Air incident (3): confirmed the presence of an Italian on the plane
New details regarding the ten minutes of flight emerge
It is confirmed that among the 189 people of the plane Boeing B-737 MAX 8 airplane of Lion Air crashed this morning there was an Italian. The Indonesian site "Kamparan" has in fact published the list of passengers who were on board the aircraft taken off from Jakarta, including figure Andrea Manfredi, 26, of Massa (Tuscany) with a past as a cyclist. The news was then confirmed also by the airline and later by the Farnesina.
Meanwhile, new details regarding the incident are emerging as the commander -as declared by the president of Lion Air to the press- would have asked the control tower to return to the airport due to a technical failure, but despite the fact that the inspectors had come free the plane crashed into the sea a few kilometers from the Indonesian coast because of this problem. As soon as the black boxes will be recovered and the data contained will be analyzed, it will be possible to ascertain with certainty whether the fault was the same one accused in the Sunday flight to Jakarta and on which the Lion Air technicians worked during the night, or whether it was of another problem.
