Alitalia: Luigi Gubitosi resigns as commissioner
Will there be now a new commissioner? -ATTACHMENT
After being appointed CEO of Tim Luigi Gubitosi, he resigned as an extraordinary commissioner of Alitalia, sending a letter (attached) to the staff of the airline. In the letter he underlined the "goals" of this extraordinary administration (managed together with Stefano Paleari and Enrico Laghi) writing that "Alitalia has resumed its share, continuing to grow over the months". In the letter Gubitosi also said he was "impressed by the enthusiasm and professionalism of the management and the Ferrovie dello Stato team that is working on the acquisition of Alitalia".
Resignations that appeared obvious and to which it remains to be seen how the departments involved will react (Economic Development and Transport) that could proceed to the appointment of a new commissioner, just as they can decide to stay with Paleari and Laghi to manage Alitalia before its final sale.
