Attack in Strasbourg: helicopters to try to identify the fleeing terrorist
He may have used accomplices to escape in Germany
The search to find Chérif Chekatt continues, the terrorist who opened fire on Tuesday night in a Christmas market in Strasbourg, killing 3 people and wounding 13. On his tracks there are about 720 policemen and French gendarmes and as many German law enforcement officers, which aided by helicopters that are plotting every possible area where man could be found, both in France and in Germany, where he seems to have managed to escape exploiting the proximity of the border.
A situation that is horrifying especially because the French police was able to locate it inside a house in the district of Neudorf, but after a gun battle Chérif managed to escape again vanishing -probably- in the city of Kehl, in Germany, where he may have been helped by some accomplices to find a "safe" hidding place. A real possibility since the terrorist in 2016, before returning to France, was sentenced by the court of Singen for robbery and this suggests that Chérif still has a network of contacts across the Rhine.
