Airbus: the value of the shares on the stock market collapses
A new investigation for corruption in the US has been opened
The aerospace company Airbus today fell to the Paris Stock Exchange, reaching a peak of 9%, then rising again in the early afternoon and settling around a 5% decrease. To provoke this sharp decrease seems to have been revealed in the newspaper "Le Monde", that a prosecutor in the United States has asked to open an investigation concerning some transactions, going to add to the open cases for some payments made in France and in the United Kingdom and which led to the exit before the natural expiration of the Airbus management. The French and British prosecutors accuse the European company of having used intermediaries to sell passenger aircrafts that would have tied these acquisitions to the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet aircraft; cases that have been reported by Airbus that is collaborating with the investigators, as it has said ready to do it with the US authorities. Nevertheless, the stock is declining, also following a negative trend started in October of this year since the value of the share rose from 108.90 euros to around 83 euros, losing almost 31% of the value.
