France: a Mirage 2000D aircraft disappeared from the radar
It probably crashed. Unknown the conditions of the two pilots
Breaking News. A Dassault Mirage 2000D aircraft of the French Air Force disappeared from the air traffic control radar screens this morning shortly after 11:00 am, as it was flying over the Swiss border after taking off from Nancy-Ochey airbase. The police and military forces of France have sent on the area of the last sighting helicopters and land vehicles in order to identify the possible wreck of the aircraft, which presumably crashed to the ground. It is unknown whether the two crewmembers are survivors, even if -according to the French press- the hopes of finding them alive would be scarce since some fighter debris was discovered in the mountains near Mignovillard, where a rescue control center.
