Electronics Group supplier of the maritime and land capability of the JEWCS Nato program
It will contribute with a "Land Training System" composed of several vehicles
Elettronica Group will be a supplier under the contract between Leonardo and the UK Ministry of Defense for the modernization of NATO's Joint Electronic Warfare Core Staff (see AVIONEWS). This is a contract awarded to Leonardo with an international tender and with a duration of 4 years, for the supply of training systems for electronic defence.
Elettronica Group, with its consolidated experience in the field of electronic warfare, will contribute to NATO's JEWCS program supplying a "Land Training System" composed of several vehicles and at the same time a "Maritime Training System" based on multiple shelters.
Both types of platforms will be provided with: electromagnetic environment simulators capable of emitting multiple signals simultaneously, echo radar simulators, active electronic countermeasures and radar signal receivers. The supply will involve two of the three companies of the Group: Elt based in Rome and the German subsidiary Elt Gmbh.
Elettronica has been positively assessed thanks to its innovative proprietary technologies that represent the state of the art in electronic warfare and has benefitted from the long standing experience of the Group in this sector.
