INF Treaty. Von der Leyen proposes to involve Beijing in a new agreement
It would allow greater stability and remove any threat
There are not only Russian Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles (IRBM) to cause European countries to fear because the other "problem" could be represented by the Chinese ones, which could also directly threaten Russia. One of the major concerns deriving from the US exit from the INF Treaty is that of an arms race towards the production of medium and short-range missiles capable of transporting one or more nuclear warheads on targets set at a maximum of 3000 km , above all because other countries could also equip and deploy them against potential targets of neighboring countries. The alarm is launched by the German Minister of Defense Ursula von der Leien interviewed by "Focus", where he explained that China could threaten Russia and this would make it necessary to negotiate a new agreement to eliminate the IRBM, the SRBM (Short Range Ballistic Missile) and MRBM (Medium Range Ballistic Missile) which also involves Beijing. This would be the only way, according to von der Leyen, to build a strong dialogue between the various parties in order to generate stability all over the world.
