INF Treaty. USA opens at new negotiations with Russia
The only condition is the possibility of carrying out inspections
From the US Department of State there would be openings regarding possible new negotiations with Moscow that would give "life" back to the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty), with the only condition being the possibility of conducting inspections in the Russian industries in order to verify that these types of nuclear weapons are not in production again. The report is "Rossiya-24" and the same day that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the act that suspends the implementation of the INF Treaty in response to the decision of the homologous Donald Trump to withdraw the United States from the agreement, effectively opening a new "race" to the development of MRBM (Medium-Range Ballistic Missile) and the SRBM (Short-Range Ballistic Missile), which would be aimed directly against European countries and Russia.
Yesterday also came the alarm of the German Minister of Defense Ursula von der Leyen who proposed to open new negotiations that also include China, also because the deployment of nuclear missiles in Russia and Europe could lead to a reaction from Beijing that would the same against Moscow for national security issues. The real risk is to open a new and useless international crisis; perhaps even in the possible next summit in late March between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping there will also be talk of an extension of the treaty Inf to China, interested in stability in order to continue to grow their companies.
