Ethiopian airplane (2). Italian Ansv designates its own investigator

The Italian victims allow it to participate in the investigation as an observer

In consideration of the presence of eight Italian citizens (see AVIONEWS) among the victims of the accident occurred on March 10th in Ethiopia, on the B-737 MAX plane 8, registration ET-AVJ, taken off from Addis Ababa with destination Nairobi, the Italian Flight Safety Agency (ANSV) announces that it has designated -on the basis of international law (Annex 13 ICAO, International Civil Aviation Organization) in the field of aeronautical investigations- its own investigator, as an observer, in the investigation conducted by homologous Ethiopian investigative authority; this investigator will operate within the limits permitted by international law.
