Also French DGAC Authority prohibits B-737 Max aircraft in airspace
The measure as a precaution from/to/ on the territory
France is closely following the progress of the investigation after the accident of a B-737 MAX aircraft in Ethiopia, the cause of which is unknown at this time. French carriers have not such airplanes in their fleets.
However, given the circumstances of the accident in Ethiopia, the French authorities have taken the decision, as a precautionary measure, to prohibit commercial flights operated on these aircraft from, to or on French territory.
France is following with attention the future developments of the investigation and the decisions that could be taken by the European or American certification authorities.
