Norwegian temporarily suspends flights with B-737 Max airplane
Following to the decision by the European aviation authorities
Following to the decision of the competent aeronautical regulatory bodies to temporarily suspend flights with B-737 MAX airplane, Norwegian will not operate any flight with this type of aircraft until further notice. The airline is in constant dialogue with aviation authorities and Boeing, following their instructions and recommendations. This temporary suspension does not apply to the over 110 B-737/800s of the carrier fleet.
Norwegian apologizes to customers who will be involved in delays and temporary cancellations but the safety of passengers and colleagues has always been the priority. The carrier therefore adapts to the authorities' decision regarding the suspension of operations with B-737 MAX.
