Boeing: first image of the new B-777/9X aircraft

It had to be presented yesterday -PHOTO

The new Boeing B-777X aircraft was to be officially presented yesterday, but due to the accident involving an Ethiopian Airlines B-737 MAX 8 and out of respect for the 157 victims the US company decided to postpone the ceremony . Despite this, for the Boeing employees it was possible to visit the plant in Everett Paine airport, Seattle, where the first model of B-777/9X was completed and some shots of the new aircraft were published on "Twitter".

The B-777/9X compared to the B-777/300ER which it will replace despite having the same weight will be able to fly for 400 km more having a range of about 14,000 km, transporting up to 414 people, but it will also be more efficient even at full load thanks to the new General Electric GE-9X engines, developed by the GE-90 which supplies the B-777 fleet in all its variants. The B-777/9X should be officially presented in the coming weeks by Boeing aiming to put it into service by 2019, and will be the response to the launch of the Airbus A-350.
