Paris-Orly airport: the names of the terminals change
Decision in view of the inauguration of the building that will connect them
The two "old" terminals "South" and "West" of the Paris-Orly airport from today will change their name in view of the inauguration of the building next April 16 that will connect the two terminals making them become a single structure, and they will be renamed following a progressive numbering from 1 to 4. A move that is also part of the management company program -Aéroports de Paris (AdP)- to modernize the airport and increase the quality of the service, so as to make it more attractive for carriers airplanes and for passengers who can also use the metro from 2024, which will directly connect the airport with the main railway station of the French capital. The single terminal that will be completed with the new structure will increase the airport's capacity by a further 8 million, thus giving over 40 million people to pass through the airport so as to best respond to the increase in traffic observed in recent years and expected to continue growing in the near future.
