Jet Airways: declaration on its situation
The flights operated as scheduled and those cancelled
Jet Airways intends to specify in a note that "it wishes to clarify and assure its passengers that flights from Amsterdam and Paris continue to operate as scheduled. In partnership with Air France/KLM, Jet Airways operates daily flights from Amsterdam to Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, and from Paris-'CdG' to Mumbai and Chennai, also operating a daily flight from Amsterdam to Toronto.
The carrier apologizes for the continuous interruptions of service in its domestic network in India, due to the cancellation of some flights, but wants to assure its passengers that these are temporary in nature. The airline is actively engaged with all of its aircraft lessors, and is regularly providing updates on the actions taken by the company to improve liquidity. Aircraft lessors have been supporting the company's actions in this direction and no Jet Airways aircraft remained on the ground in Amsterdam or Paris. More importantly, the main stakeholders of the company met and approved the repayment plan, which immediately infused funds into the company itself. Jet Airways remains confident in a positive solution to the current complex situation and apologizes for the inconvenience caused to its passengers", the carrier concludes it in a note.
