Easyjet airplane crashed against Boeing jet parked on the runway
The impact happened during the pushback
A slight ground collision between two airplanes occurred this morning at Amsterdam-Schiphol airport. An Airbus A-320 of EasyJet company, departing for London-Gatwick airport, hit the wing against the tail of a Boeing KLM jet stopped on the runway, which had to take off for Madrid. The impact occurred during the pushback in preparation for taxiing. The inconveniences were considerable. EasyJet re-protected passengers of flight EJU 8868 on a replacement aircraft, which left four hours later; while the flight to Madrid suffered a three hour delay. A spokesman of the British low-cost company said that an investigation will be opened.
