Star Alliance and Nec Corporation sign partnership agreement

To improve passenger experience through biometric data recognition technology

Short news. Star Alliance and NEC Corporation signed a partnership agreement to develop a biometric data-based identification platform that will significantly improve the travel experience for frequent flyer programme customers of Star Alliance member airlines. Both aim to introduce the first biometric solution at a Star Alliance airport hub by the first quarter of 2020.
