New director manager of Air France-Klm East Mediterranean
Stefan Vanovermeir, French, 46, with a rich experience in the aeronautical sector
Stefan Vanovermeir is the new general manager of Air France-KLM for the countries of the East Mediterranean (Italy, Malta, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Israel). He replaces Jérôme Salemi, who took on the role as VP Sales Policies of Air France-KLM at the Paris office.
French, 46, he has a degree in engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lille and has a wealth of professional experience in the aeronautical sector.
He held positions at Air France since 1999 in Revenue Management, Distribution and Pricing at the beginning of his career.
He was commercial director from 2005 to 2007 in Korea and then returned to Asia in 2015 as general manager of Air France-KLM for Japan, Korea and New Caledonia.
He has just settled in Rome at the head of a structure that includes 7 countries, is present in 18 airports, of which 14 in Italy, operates more than 500 flights a week and has more than 250 employees. Stefan Vanovermeir will report to Barry ter Voert , SVP Europe Air France-KLM.
