Today, on September 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in the Orenburg region to attend the joint military exercise between Russia and China called "Tsentr 2019", created to counter the threat of international terrorism and which has been taking place since September 16th and then ending 21st of the same month.
The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov communicated this during a press briefing: "Today Putin will fly from Izevsk to Orenburg, where he will stay for one night and tomorrow he will participate in the active phase of strategic exercise". And he added: "The president of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, will be guest of Putin".
China will participate with its war planes in training: in a simulation of a bombing against ground targets, Shenyang J-11 fighter aircraft crews will be involved (a modified version of the Russian Su-17 manufactured under license by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation), Xian JH-7 and H-6 (modified version of the Tupolev-16) and also Z-10 helicopters.
Military simulations will be carried out throughout Russia and the Caspian Sea and 600 aircraft, 15 warships, 250 tanks and 20,000 military units will take part in the event. The first phase includes anti-terrorist procedures, including air strike and reconnaissance operations; the second will instead deal with troop management and simulated combat.
