Roscosmos: no postponement to the return by the cosmonauts Expedition 62 from ISS
Despite the quarantine taking place in Kazakhstan, landing area
According to the Russian press reports today, the national space agency Roscosmos does not consider it appropriate to postpone the return of the Expedition 62 crew from the International Space Station (ISS) to Earth, despite the quarantine imposed by Kazakhstan for restrictions due to the pandemic Covid-19.
"In fact, the quarantine in Kazakhstan is still ongoing, but we are interacting with partners (Americans, Editor's note) and evaluating the options to solve the problem", reported the Russian agency's press office.
Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka (on his third mission), and astronauts of the American space agency NASA, Andrew Morgan and Jessica Meir (both on their first space mission), after being launched last February 6, should return to Earth on April 17. The next expedition is scheduled on April 9.
