Pandemic: Russia creates airlift with aid to Serbia
Three Il-76 of the Moscow Aerospace Forces have already taken off
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, an airlift to Serbia was created upon request by President Vladimir Putin, with aid to support the fight against the new coronavirus. The first three Il-76 strategic transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces have already taken off at the airport of Batainitsa, near Belgrade, coming from the airport of the Chkalovsky military base, Moscow oblast. In total, according to the Russian press writes, the airlift will transfer to Serbia 87 between military doctors and virologists, various types of medical-sanitary material including special and protective ones, and equipment, in a total of eleven flights.
The terms of Russian interventions to the Balkan Nation would have been defined in a telephone conversation held yesterday between Putin and Serbian counterpart Alexander Vucic.
