Venezuela shoots down drug traffickers' plane
There is a fake American flag on fuselage
Nestor Reverol, Venezuela's Interior Minister, used his twitter account in recent hours for an announcement that aroused a certain sensation. An airplane with fake American registration and identified with great difficulty was shot down in the state of Zulia, immediately after entering airspace of Colombia. This is a Beechcraft 200 King Air (Registration N305AG). Reason for shooting down by the Venezuelan air force is soon said, it would be an aircraft used by traffickers and full of drugs. Several images are also circulated online showing the military of the South American nation inspecting the wreckage.
In addition to the fake stars and stripes flag on the fuselage, the photos show a number (3), while everything else is burnt or damaged. As pointed out by Reverol, this aircraft was detected by radar while violating the airspace; operation, on the other hand, took place near a secret and unidentified track, specifically near the town of Machiques de Perija. Beechcraft 200 King Air is a turboprop aircraft first launched in 1969, before a long line of upgraded versions.
