NASA, SpaceX crew arrived in Florida

On November 14th there will be the launch towards the orbiting station

The dragon is ready to take flight. “Crew Dragon” space capsule members arrived in Florida, near the Kennedy Space Center of NASA. This is the SpaceX shuttle that in four days will leave in the direction of the international space station (read also the article published by AVIONEWS). The launch is expected as never before, despite the November 14th date being affected by atmospheric events that do not make sleep peacefully.

The problem is the tropical storm renamed Eta and that should hit the American state. However, on Wednesday November 11st, 2020 the crew will carry out a test on the launch pad to understand how to manage the important flight. The plan is already outlined at each stage; the arrival at destination on the ISS is scheduled for 4:20 pm (Usa time) on November 15th, while the launch will take place at 19:49 tomorrow (Florida time).

Astronauts who will take part in the mission, namely Victor Glover, Mike Hopkins and Shannon Walker (all from NASA) and the Japanese Soichi Noguchi who works for the Jaxa space agency, are excited to be part of the project and will remain on the orbiting station. for a total of six months. The mission, renamed “Crew-1”, provides for the shuttle to dock with the Harmony module of the international space station, while the crew will join other astronauts already present.
