Air carriers. Canarian Airways officially launched
Canary Islands have a new company
The constitution of a new air carrier represents a particular and important moment even more if we consider the historical period we are experiencing. The speech fits perfectly for Canarian Airways, the company founded in the last few hours to allow the Canary Islands to have an airline capable of guaranteeing a series of new air connections. The project envisages the direct involvement of Tenerife hoteliers and above all of another carrier, One Airways. As reported by the Spanish media in the last few hours, the company will start operating in the second half of June, trying to take advantage of the summer season and a hypothetical resumption of flights, as is predicted by many parties. The fleet consists solely of an unspecified aircraft, which should have a capacity of 144 passengers, while the hub of reference can only be the "Reina Sofia" airport in South Tenerife. Tickets are scheduled to be sold for next March; these are Spanish destinations, such as Madrid, Barcelona and Vigo, but not only. The aim is also to secure destinations such as Glasgow, Cardiff and Berlin, to name just a few. Finally, as regards the tariff, it was guaranteed that the prices will be “reasonable and not subject to speculation” in order to meet customers.
