Russia allocates millions of dollars to develop aviation

Started projects to strengthen regional and long-range aircraft production

Moscow will allocate 26.1 million dollars to provide economic support for various development projects involving Russian-made aircraft used on both regional and long-range routes. Authorities aim to give "proactive support" to accelerate the entry of these products into the global market.

"One of these aircraft is a new long-range wide-body aircraft, and the other is our regional Ilyushin Il-114/300 also developed at the behest of President Putin, which will replace obsolete Antonov An-24 aircraft on local routes", said the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin

Meanwhile, there are also plans to enhance the production of Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. This is a 103-seat short-range passenger airplane. Russia hopes to produce at least 192 of them by the end of the year.
