Boeing will double MAX aircraft produced by 2023
Indiscretions say 47 units per month compared to 27 today
US manufacturer Boeing is reportedly about to give the green light to an increase in the production rate of narrow-body 737 Max aircraft. This is an indiscretion that has already filtered through previously: a month ago there was talk of a shift from 17 to 31 units per month up to 47 today. The increase in capacity will take place by the end of next year.
This was announced by the American news agency "Reuters" which cites sources familiar with the dossier. After reducing production mainly due to the pandemic, Boeing and European rival Airbus are experiencing increased demand for medium-range aircraft, so both manufacturers have signed new agreements in recent weeks.
