ITA Airways launches the new service "Time to think", that allows to lock the price of the selected flight during the ticket purchase for 72 hours by paying a small surcharge. 

From today, it is possible to block the fare of its flights choosing from the 64 destinations offered by the Italian flagship carrier, including the two new intercontinental routes from Rome-Fiumicino to Washington (from June 2^nd), and San Francisco (from July 1^st). 

The service offered by ITA Airways is available both on the carrier's official website ita-airways.com and on the mobile app, and charges an additional fee from €5 to €15 per passenger (the service is neither transferable nor refundable and the surcharge will be charged regardless of the completion of the ticket purchase) depending on the flight destination.

For children under 2 years the service is free. 

 "Time to think" is available up to eight days before the flight departure date. For round-trip bookings it must be purchased on both flights.
