PRATT&WHITNEY SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH NORTHWEST AIRLINES

USA, Pratt&Whitney has signed long-term agreements with Northwest Airlines Inc for enignes maintenance and repair services, worth about $390 million. The deal includes a ten-year agreement to provide a fleet management program for the airline's PW4056-powered fleet of 747-400s. A five-year agreement for the engine overhaul of the new PW4168A-powered A330-300s.
