BELL BOEING JOINT VENTURE AWARDED OF NEW FUNDS FOR OSPREY PRODUCTION
USA, Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., awarded an USD 18,900,000 modification to previously awarded advance acquisition contract to provide additional funding for the manufacture and delivery of the Fiscal Year 2001 production V-22 aircraft. Work, commissioned by The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is expected to be completed by October 2003.
