Iraq: Japan could withdraw its troops in May 2006

Tokyo, Japan - United States' condition is a constant aerial support

Japanese "Tokyo Shimbun" newspaper stated that Japanese Army units operating in Iraq could be withdrawn next May. This withdrawal, however, will occur by an agreement with US Government, which would have agreed provided that Japan goes on collaborating in the aerial support sector between Kuwait and Iraq.
