CONGRESS MEMBER OPPOSING TO CHILE AIM-120 ACQUISITION

USA, It seems that Bush administration is more open to transfer of AIM-120 to Chile but some members of US Congress still strongly oppose to such a sale, fearing it could led to a regional arms race. As a compromise the US could offer to sell missiles to Chile with the stipulation they would not be delivered until a similar weapon is delivered to another country in the region.
