France, Germany and Spain agreed on an A-400M "Tanker"

Toulouse, France - The three countries requested the transformation of some among the new military cargo aircraft into aerial refuelling airplanes

The EADS-Airbus A-400M will not be simply a military tactical airlifter but also an aerial refuelling airplane. France, Germany and Spain have already ordered a series of conversion kits which are going to involve some among the respective cargo aircraft once operated starting from 2009. The related aerial refuelling system will be similar to the one already selected by the UK for the special version...
